I used to have a pet shark and a pet alligator, but I flushed them down the toilet when they got too big to handle.
Now I want a pet gorilla, but it seems quite hard to get one.

    Love, bird.

I had a rabbit. One day my husband said to me, "have you ever noticed how its eyes are on the sides of its head?" And from then on the rabbit looked like a rodent. Not cute and cuddly as before!

We had an Alligator, but we gave him away yesterday. His tank was as long as and half the width of our queen size bed. With our baby on the way, we needed to get rid of him so we had more room. I miss him. His name was Erwin.

soaringeagle....luna is just adorable! we have had many different pets including pythons and a white wolf, however the oddest thing we owned was a flying squirrel. The reason I say it was the oddest was because she was chaotic and nuts!

    thread killer

i never say animals i've owned..i always say animals that lived with me
in fact, the racoons were completely wild, they just chose to live in a wood pile on the 1st floor..& would nibble my toes to wake me up in the morn & eat breakfast with me..
but they were wild animals, free to come & go as they pleased..

    guess you've never had pets?

Well when i was a tot my mama would not let us have an animal come live with us and i used to get pretty annoyed over that cuz i LOVED animals. But when i think about it now, quite a few have come into the house over the years.

The oddest id have to say was probably the first 1. When i was about 4 my minder caught a moth in a jar and i JUMPED at the opportunity to take him home with me. I was sooooo happy i FINALLY had a little friend to play with.
I snuck a rat home 1 day that i bought for an old irish pound (thats 1.27 euros) off a friend when i was 6. Then for my 8th b-day i was "given" a cat that has been my lasting companion, and is still with me today after 12 years. But the little fecker chased his twin sister away after 2 short years.
since then goldfish, pink ians and also a snake have passed through the doors of this house. The snake currently lives with a breeder who uses her as a breeding snake, so her life consists of eating, sleeping, being warm and making babies :D (lucky her!!! :p)

yuss, I usually refer to it as animals that you have shared a home with, but I was typing quickly. ANimals are not property, of course! LOL!

theres a spider walking across my monitor screeen.. does that count?

ohh.. just a funny story just popped into my head..when i was last in new orleans, there was this kid named rat that was panhandling in the funniest way i'd ever seen..he had caught a cockroach & kept it in his pocket, & hedd run up to people trying to get them to adopt it for a dollar, peopl would run away screamming..
after about 2 hours of this this old couple that looked like they were fresh off an iowa farm or something walked by, & he went into his speil.. well to everyones surprise this old couple maybe in theyre 7-'s just smiled & pulled out a dollar..ra placed the roach on the husbands shoulder & they just walked away smilling & petting theyre new freind
we musta laughed histericaly for an hour after that
    but it was really cool
