I suck at it but I come from a family of great cooks. My brother is a cook at a resturant and my grandma's sister Ruth Conrad Bateman wrote cook books, even my dad and mom cook well.... where the fuck did the cooking gene go with me?
Some people cook steak in the oven. it turns out like one step away from jerkey. Cooking is really easy
you can cook steak in the oven, just have it in a citrus relish so it doesn't dry and the acids keep it nice and tender....... it turns out wonderfully..... more roast like than steak like to be honest though....... I tend to cook steak in a wok.....
practice practice practice. and soulless, if you clean WHILE you cook it doesn't take much longer and is much easier afterwards.
Yeah, but I'm sloppy as fuck. Plus, once somethings been used I don't wanna touch it.. Dunno why, but it seems gross, even if I'm the one who just used it.

I can cook. I was not taught at home nor did I receive the appropriate genetic material. I learned all by myself. And anyone who can read, can cook. Just follow a recipe. Start simple, don't try to make a souffle on your first time out.... Were you turned into a newt?
