I did other people's homework etc for money. Worksheets were $1 per page. Essay's were $5, unless they were 5 page boys, then they were $15. This is the main reason I got all C's. I was too busy doing everybody elses work to do my own.
my grandpa used to give me big bills and tell me not to tell my mom because she thought my grandparents spoiled me too much. they would sneak me all kinds of stuff. I was at there house two weekends ago and saw my grandpa break out his wallet before I left and I gave him a look like 'please don't' I mean for goodness sakes it was the mans birthday and he put it away. I love love love my grandparents to death.
I had to sell pumpkins one year. My uncle grows them, so my dad got the idea that I should set up a stand and sell them a couple weeks before halloween. Then he made me go to door to door with a wheel barrow full of them the day before halloween. I made like $75, but at the time it sucked.
i would wait for one of my siblings to do their laudry cause I know they would leave money in the pockets all the time... parents didnt believe in allowence so we either got lucky and parents would throw some change at us or waited till was old enough to get a job... but when younger, i would babysit...(yes, scary, I know )
What did I do for money as a kid? I asked for it. I was spoiled rotten. My mother actually didn't WANT me to work. Go figure. Although I did do some babysitting from time to time, and I was lucky because the families that I sat for paid nicely. But I earned every penny of it, those kids were wild things!
