I burned a RW CD using iTunes in CD audio format. Later I decided to add a few songs, but there didn't seem to be any option for that. So I tried deleting the songs, which didn't work. Then I formatted the CD, which seemed to work. Now iTunes doesn't think it is a blank CD, and won't burn to it.

    Any ideas?

Unless the CD is rewritable, you will not be able to burn anything on it once it has been finalized. You might want to try using a standalone burning program such as deepburner. You can find more on this list http://digitalmeltd0wn.org/freeware.html All of them are free.

Its definitely a RW CD, not a CD-R, because I was able to reformat it. I may give deepripper a try though.

I always get sketchy results when using RWs. With the cost of blank CDs being around 10cent a piece I don't see the need to bother with RWs
