    Hello from southern California. We are a small Collective of folks taking care of the earth, living part-time on an organic farm in a coastal valley....and part-time indigenous in the mountains on beautiful native land surrounded by Indian Rservation.
    Our farm has over 30 types of fruits like: avocados, oranges, figs, mulberries, carob, grapefruit, persimmon, apple, plum, jujube, blood orange, loquat, Indian figs, pummelo, pomegranite, che, prune, pineapple-guava, Asian pear, guava, lemon, apricot, peach, macadamia nut.....etc.
    In our mountain home we have a tipi waiting to be covered and there are several Indian caves that are pretty awesome, right near some powerful waterfalls.
    At the present time we are trying to connect with young folks who are into serious backpacking, yoga, meditation and natural foods...to help us with our farm and the primitive camps in the mountains. This will last from now until the end of October.
    Check out our web site at: www.wildernesscollective.com

    ~~~Have a nice cave~~~
    "We do not support President George Bush or his criminal politics at our Farm/Collective."
    I don't see any reason to bring that idiot (Bush) or politics into it. The place looks pretty trippy to me - The rest of their website doesn't mention politics as far as I see - they seem like nice Bohemian types. (Usually fanatics rant & rave)
    Old people can't do as much work??? No, seriously...I'd go to Shangri-la if they were taking children and animals. It wouldn't be much of a Shangri-La without my daughter or my dog though. It would be an awesome place other than that.
    for people that promote love and tolerence of others and tolerence to the beliefs of others why is that some of the anti BUSH people are the first to start calling names and bashing? IE. "criminal" or "idiot".
    could have simply said : I don't see any reason to bring politics into it.
    but instead you make yourself and others that dislike the presidents policies just appear less informed or just stupid.
    this is probably the wrong thread to be discussing this but hey its where the post was.
    "idiot" is name calling, "criminal" is a valid description of the individual in question and the activities of his administration.
    I see nothing wrong with a community or anyone else opposing Bush and his "criminal" policies on their website. Bush is against everything environmental, truely democratic, or truely free (everything or anyone not subject to corporate capitalism and fundamentalist religious dogma) so it seems natural for anyone who cares about the environment, democracy (not the buzz word, but the real thing), and freedom (again, the real thing, not Bush's false version) to voice their opposition to Bush. Not to do so is a cop-out.
    but just name calling doent help. unless you back it with facts. and hard facts not just personal beliefs or incorrect information. and nothing is wrong with a web site downing bush. it is their right to do so. all i saying is that for people that belieave in tolerence and forgivness and make love not war and all that stuff, why is it usually of them that are the 1ST to start name calling and ranting on and on.
    i dont know about these forums but most with that opinion dont even bother to vote. and for me the ones that fail to do so are the true cop-outs.
    so you dont like the policies vote him out.
    i would just like to see a time when people make a claim like "criminal policies" they would back it with facts. instead of beliefs. you ever want to sway a republicans point of view thats what you have to do. its not that they have no feelings or anythingthey just tend to let the money side of everything rule. and many things they belive i agree with in theroy i just dont think its done correctly, same with the other parties i agree with alot of ideas in theroy.
    and when i talk with people of other beliefs or points of view the only way to make them see is using facts.
