If there's eternity...

It says in the Bible that G-d has always been, and always will be.
Before everything there was G-d.

Genesis 1.

In the beginning there was only G-d. And He's eternal too.

That's yer answer.

But I've thought about Universe being G-d before.
Didn't work out.

 

That's right, our fleshlsy minds cannot comprehend it.

It says that G-d put eternity in every person's heart.

But there cannot be eternity, without G-d.

 

Then how is it possible then, that eternity even exists?

Perhaps as a mathematical extraction but certaintly not in an existential fashion. Anyone can look at an infinity sign and say that they comphrehend it, but it takes a little more to conceptualise every atom in this Universe at once, to see every human body on this planet at once, to contemplate what each and every individual is doing at this one moment. If you can look up at the stars and conceptualise infinite numbers of stars it would look brighter than a noon day, brighter than looking directly at the Sun. The former is imagination the latter is existential.

If you could conceptualise how long this world has been here and how long it will be here after we are gone then one can only become humble and see that our lives last but a moment.

Forever is a long time and eternity is infinitely longer because forever has a start and finish and eternity has no beginning nor/and end. Time wise we look at the beginning of time as the Big Bang, but the expanding Universe causes space to be created and with it time; so there is an envelope surrounding the Universe (space / time) which is outside space, and therefore outside time. Time and space, what we call eternity, exists within a cloud which has no space nor time. The "real" eternity exists outside of time and space, it is timeless because it is not subject to time; because there is no space there is no light, because there is no light there is no time. Within a cloud of no time exists time, the kernel of existance.

So while we can conceptualise our existence, our Universe, as a pin of light inside the largest and darkest cave, it is but a blind man from birth contemplating light.

What we see as eternity is but an imagination of our minds. It does not exist.

Instead of a circle, think of a ball. You're outside, standing on the exact middle of the ocean bouncing this ball. You can see for thousands of miles in every direction. Time is the air inside the ball. Eternity is the air outside the ball. What we think of eternity, timeless time, is but the air inside the ball. There are no boundaries outside the ball. That is Eternity.

 

So because some book says so it's true? Lots of books say lots of things. [

Yeah, but this 'Book' so happens to have a bunch of Prophecies in it that are comming true right now.And have already proven their accuracy.

Also, it says that there will be great natural desasters.

It's proven that the earthquakes and hurricanes have increased in the last 8-11 years.


We Christians will prophecy and see visions, me and my friend already did, - and guess what? --it came true.

It says that in that book, yes.

But what does it say in the universe? What is written into the cosmos? Perhaps there are clues there as well.

Like this would ever happen, besides there are more religions than just those.

There have always been great natural disasters, that they have increased in the last couple of years means relatively little considering how long people have been around, and there is no proof it's not part of some larger cycle, as well kept records only go back so far.

So?I'm not christian, and yet I've had deja vu, and had various dreams and such come true, wow, so what?

Or rather you're out of ideas but add this as so to sound as though you had some more to say? Presumably something incredibly insightful and groundbreaking we are to believe no? Something that would utterly shatter our delusions and cause us to see the light?
