wow. i really liked it. if you can make it a bit longer with a chorus (no pressure, just opinion) than it would make a really good song.
exactly the same way i write songs. i usually write a poem, and then when i'm sitting around with my guitar, and a good idea pops up, i immediately grab my lyrics to see what fits.
