IQs don't mean shit. It's about as relavant as that old cranial capacity shit. Studies show that you recieve no significant brain damage from smoking pot. It changes the wavelengths in your brain temporarily which effects the memory, and it causes you to feel less physically motivated, but it doesn't make you any dumber.

Well, I really don't think I or any of my pothead friends have become any dumber. I started smoking heavily 10 years ago, and I'm definately smarter now than I was then. Would I have been smarter now if I hadn't indulged? I don't think so. My grades never slipped, I and many of my pothead friends flew threw college/university, now I work at a news station, another of my friends is well on her way to being a lawyer.....I don't walk around without a head on my shoulders. I can debate with the best of them I'm sure....like I said, no significant brain damage...in fact I'm pretty sure the stupidity of the average human who doesn't smoke weed is more than my stupidity, because I encounter people every day who don't have a fucking clue.........

I dont think it makes you dumb, sometimes a little slow if you've been smoking too much but thats when you should cut down.

Any way i think the original poster didnt really want to ask a question but brag how well he and his friends have done in life...

 

what if you're already dumb and people think its the weed thats making you dumb, but in reality, you're just dumb without weed.

 

Coming from somebody who has smoked more weed than the average individual, it depends on the person. Seriously. I can make a very valid arguement, while completely stoned. It may take me a minute, but I can hold my own, regardless of how much weed I have smoked. Drinking. Now that's a-whole-nother story.
