contrary to what ive heard from many, according to scriptures, Satan doesnt torture you forever in hell as indicated in Rev. 20:10...It states clearly that Satan will be held captive in hell...he will be thrown into the "lake of fire and brimstone" where he will be "tormented day and night for ever and ever" anywho...have a wondrous day/evening/night
kinda limmitsn his ability to "lead us astray" & "tempt us" & "possess us" huh? ih satan is trapped in hell being tormented, how can christians fear him? how can they blame all evil on him? ever concider hat god & satan are just made up concepts..trying to understand human nature without the benifits of modern science? concepts we understand today like depression, psychosis & schitsophrenia, were always atributed to satans intervention. bt maybe the concept of dssatan & evil were really just a feeble attempt at early psychology..
Boy, I never really think or talk about hell until I come onto the hipforums. Must be exhausting worrying about it all the time.
i never think about it either...i was just browsing around the Religious Tolerance website [on of my personal favorites] and soaringeagle...someone who believes in the living entity of Satan will stil believe in the temping of Satan because the events decribed in th passage happen after/during the Second Coming EDIT: for reference, i highly doubt a physical entity that is or is similar to a Satan
Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire, but so will the people who don't believe in Jesus Christ. Both are tormented, because of their own actions.
ImFuzzynutz, we all know your stance on this. Please mate, we're discussing what the bible said in this thread.
still, he may be captive in hell but i wouldn't want to be in the same cell as him cuz you may end up getting fucked up the ass by him (someone told me that what he does to people in hell) and you all better do what God wants you to do
You're pretty obsessed with taking it up the ass, aren't you? Flamboyantly gay men talk less about it than you. Back to the topic, I was raised and educated baptist, and the interpretation they take on it is that after the apocalypse and the years of crappy conditions for the unsaved left on earth there will be a big battle between christ's army and satan's (meaning christians and non-christians). Satan's army will be defeated and he will be cast into the lake of fire to suffer for eternity. He won't have any power there, wont be controlling anyone, torturing anyone, or anything like that. He will be suffering eternally right along side everyone else.
you're pretty obsessed with living a sinful life... is that because you think lucifer is gonna make a sweet lover in hell?... think again honey
Sweetheart, I'm not half the bitch you are. You know nothing about how I behave in my life. Thanks for the laugh though.
Molly I have to agree with the others... nowhere does it say in the bible that you're going to get f***ed by satan. he willl be tortured like all the others, he will have no control.
