so i read about this really cool meditation type of thing. its kinda like this. in your mind picture the color red. imagen nothing else exists but the color red. know that you have seen it.. then do the same thing for oragne then yellow then green then blue then after blue you'll do the same thing with the color purple but this time imagen the purple as a misty 3d substance. then picutre the purple mist clearing to reveal and long white marble hallway. at the end of the hallway theres is marble staircase that has tewnty one (21) steps. picture your self going down each stair. all the way to the botton. then at the bottom there is a door. Imagen the door in what everway you want to. there is also a key in the door. again make it how ever you want. then unlock the door with the key and pocket the key. then go into your " secret room". picture it however you want. its your place and no one elses. my personaly, i see a huge gaintic tree that is good for climbing. and towards the top theres a depression in the tree trunk thats perfect to sit in. spend as much time as you want here. then when you want to go back out go out the door then up the steps back down the hallway into the purple mist the visualize the color blue then green yellow orange red . then your back i do this alot and its very relaxing and nice to do before tests and things like that ~arnar
I love it! Thank you hemp boy Did you come up with this yourself? Since I was about 14, I have used the same basic principle of going to a quiet peaceful place in my head during meditation or yoga or prayer. It's not quite the same as yours, but it is a definite image of a place that has developed somewhat over the years.
a place i go to sometimes is a place that i actually was in Colorado. i was hiking with a friend and we had stopped to "take it all in." I was going to take a picture of the view (quite impressive - canyon walls all around us, mountains in the background, etc) but my friend convinced me not to, "because the picture will never do justice to the actual place" and that it will forever be perfect in my head, whereas a picture would ruin it. i definately thank her for that.
It sounds like an easy way to open one of the special doors in your mind.. thanks a bunch I'll try it
i got it from this freaking amazing book called Instant ESP by David St.Clair . colorado is very nice. i cant ever imagen not living here.
I am interested in beginning meditation, and this seems like as good a place as any to start. Post some experiences after you do it, guys.
