Pricing your clothing

    heyyy ive actually got round to making some clothing recently that id like to sell...im setting up a website and hoping to sell some items on ebay but am finding it really hard to price the clothes i make! how do you go about it? what are your base prices for skirts and dresses etc? i just dont know how much i should be selling for! dont want to be wasting my time but also dont want to rip people off! the clothing im making is off high quality, all edges overlocked and hemmed, sewn better than some you see in shops..please help

    Try to be realistic. count how much have you spent in materials, which one is really cool and which one is just normal, how much energy and time have you spent ..then try to sell the product in price bigger twice. I mean if materials cost 10$, you became pleasure while doing it :) than you can price it from 15 to 20 $.
    On the other hand, you'll see how businness is going & increase or dicrease prices.

    I know some people use this: Take how many hours theitem took to make, and multiply it by $5 (or how ever much you'de like to make "per hour"). Then add the costs of the materials.
    I don't know exactly how much you'de like to make, but I agree with Ursula= be realistic! Not a lot of people want to pay $120 for a dress :p
