I'm new to this site, and too am trying to figure things out. I geuss I stumbled across this site in the hopes of finding long lost rainbow, and earth first friends. After spending what seemed to be a lifetime of traveling on the road, I'm now living in Up-state NY with my daughter., and am trying to find the right town or comune, or comunal living situation that I can raise my daughter in, and as for me a final place to call home.
Welcome aliax76. Good luck with your search. I've been on the road for something like 13 yrs myself and I spent the last cpl years looking for the same thing that it sounds like your looking for. I decided to take a break and wound up in Santa Cruz california for the time being (interesting place, but it's not the end of the rainbow). Tell you what; if you find anything on the east coast, let me know. If I find anything on the west coast, I'll let you know. If neither of us finds anything, maybe we'll meet up in Arkansas someday.
Let me extend the welcome mat. I just recently found “The Hip Forums” myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to “Flame” you, that’s not tolerated here. From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind kick back and stay awhile.
Wlcome Aliciax76, I'm new here myself...In all honesty, I'm looking to go on the road myself, looking for the grand adventure and freedom that I feel waiting for me. Gonna trade my electric and amp in for an acoustic/electric so that I can always play music for people. I hope you find what you're looking for, and maybe you can give me some tips along the way
