Ok the opinion you seem to not share..but i think do.. if you compare the two.. hows that ?.

 

What about the myriad of other issues concerning the weather .?? The weather effects EVERYBODY on the planet.. trying to say it is 'punishment' for not looking after the planet .. by a group of people trying to make sense of the world around them.. is a bit small minded.

its bad people, i was watching a lecture on the university cahnnel, the free carbons in the atsmosphere have increased from 315 ppm in 74 to 380 in 004. the result of this is heat being retained on the planet causeing the ice caps to melt and the influx of water in the ocean lowering its pasific gravity, this is very bad, the curents rely on the pasific gravity of the ocean to function as they do, carreing warmer water from the south that difuses storms. it is not certain at what point the currents will change, but they will at anytime, the results will be imediate and drastic. and with china comming online, building factories at an unpresedented rate, it grows closer, faster everyday. the goverments have known of this, they had satelite pictures of the shrinking ice caps, and models of the currents and the effect of the salinity factor on them the whole time they were saying "its not that bad" where not talking a "mini" ice age here, where talking a full blown uneneding winter that could last for centuries.

live in fear? now thats living!! excuse the sarcasm, but the earth has been ever changing. its bigger and greater than you can imagine. i say, are your houses in order?

One ice cap is actually growing. Explain that one. The conclusion you just made cannot be drawn from the evidence at hand.

I found this in another post, like heron said and others say, its just the earth doing its normal thing, i mean in 1933 there were more hurricanes than there are in this present season...the world didn't end then,it just seems much more catastrophic than other times because it hit us in such a delicate spot......seasons are never the same, similar yes, but i believe shes doin her thing...

 

if the sixth extinction is underway, its well out of our hands, thankfully (And has been since we came on the scene, this takes thousands of years to process, for some, its called the duration of an age. its normal.)

 

did you europeans forgot you kill millions of each other not long ago 1939 -1945 or did you forget the inquisition "spanish and others" . GET A LIFE.

Dear Brothers and Sisters: Yes the earth is a sentient being. She is alive. Just not in the way that most think of aliveness. All matter that isn't dead has a life force energy and consciousness. How else can you "talk" to plant or crystal. Life is not confined to those creatures that can move about. Native peoples have long believed and known that the life force is in everything. The mineral kingdom has a electromagnetic field that a sensitive person can read and communicate with. Same way with plants. Remember the studies in Scotland at that one commune. I know the name but I can't recall it at the moment but it was in the 60's. The plants responded to music and love energies being sent to them. Crystal grow and many folk beside myself have interacted with them. I know of one big quartz crystal that told a fellow hippie that got it at a trade circle at nationals that it was stolen and led him to the place where it belonged. Clear across the USA. He drove up and asked hey is this your crystal? It was part of a medicine circle in the back of my friends place. It knew its address. It didn't say I live at such and such it just said turn here and here. tThe dude did and it got home. He had it setting on the dash of his van. Of course that hippie got showered with lots of thanks, hugs and more. As far as global warming goes yes the earth is sick. But the whole solar system is warming. Is Gaia pissed, yes I think so. Are we to blame? Yes, though not entirely. We have abused our mother and raped her and just not gave a damn about anybody but ourselves and our comfort. Things are going to go from bad to worse if we who are aware do not do everthing in our power to help her heal. We can moderate things if not totally stop it. It is a cyclical thing. But we have made it worse by our actions and inactions. I have been shown a very sad ending. But it is only one possibility. It doesn't have to happen. I saw her die. If we don't band together and LOVE one another and all that exists. If we don't start living lightly and respectfully upon our mother then she is doomed to die. This is a harsh thing to say but it is the truth. Like I said even if we can't totally heal her we can help her to hold on longer until we can. Send her loving energy. I leave you with one thing to ponder. All life consumes life. If the earth is dead matter how can plants grow and feed other life? What does the earth's food? Well, she hasn't told me so, but I kinda think that it is cosmic energy coupled with food stores within the crust of the earth. The food source could well be the oil reserves that we have so greedily accessed and used up. All things have a value in the natural world. Crude oil must have a natural usage. I think I am right . But of course I could be wrong.

well i think that the earth is doing this things because nature is holding itself in a balance. if in a ecosystem, for example, are too many of one sort there will be an other something to make less the many ones. i think it works as that on whole mother earth, if there is to many of something and the balance is gone nature will find it's way to bring the balance back. and if we are smart we are going to think about that and get of are asses and start living more natural.

 

I would be pissed off too if i was the earth.....Lots of lazy ass littering, not caring people!!!!
