how'd i know you'd be the first to greet me? but what happened to your classic old 'hi welcome to the forums enjoy yourself' or whatever it is you used to say-or so i heard... i was once on a forum where i had over 9000 posts in a year...before ti got weird (just never weird nuf for me) hope i can be just as active here, if nobody's a jerk, and folks have a sense of humor...
Let me extend the welcome mat. I just recently found “The Hip Forums” myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to “Flame” you, that’s not tolerated here. From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, kick back and stay awhile.
funny thing about 'families': usually before too long they make you remember why you left home in the first place...
You won't get any flack from me, I'll be your bro. I can't and won't speak for the others, but I hope that here you'll find what your looking for. Peace DDR
Hi Benny, here's a warm welcome to you!!!! I know you will like it here. I joined in August(duh, I think LOL) there are so many great caring people on this forum. They have welcome me and have been so non-judgemental. Made a few good friends also. But needless to say there will be jerks and assholes everywhere but they don;t seem to stick around long. So jump in and have a great time. Peace and love.
unfortunately sometimes the jerks & assholes are the bosses or the owners-shit rises to the top, y'know-and then you just have to move on-but thanx again-i've always been big in canada...i work with a native from there-he always has interesting tales about life on 'the reserve'....
Good to hear Benny, so many people think we are living in igloos...LOL but in reality we are not much different from the states. Its a pretty cosmopolitan country. Say a big HELLO to your native co-worker for me,although life on the reserves are somewhat different than the bigger cities. We are such a multi-cultural country, which is good because I think it helps to get rid of racism, at least I hope so. Take care !
Hi benny...welcome... we're a mixed bunch and some have bigger personalities than others.... or maybe just louder at voicing their opinion... but thats what makes it so interesting here... hope you stay awhile....
