A dark story concerning fools who mess with bears

This is a story involving bears and peoples misconceptions regarding bears

It’s a dark story and its lessons don’t just apply to bears ...ideally you need to imagine hearing this story at night in a dark wood by a fire with the wind blowing softly through the trees


Back in the 1990s timothy Treadwell discovered bears, before that he had been a drifter and a bit of a surfer dude, but then he went to Alaska and discovered bears large grizzly bears and he used to get really close to them .


Backwoods country people warned him told him those bears are mighty dangerous, but he wouldn’t listen he used to call the bears names like Mr chocolate and spend lots of time really close to them, he filmed himself with these bears and became a celebrity .


He went on major tv shows in the us and was known as a bear expert and a bear whisperer, he used to go round schools and promote his ideas regarding bears and bear conservation .


Through this he met this girl who was also very keen on the environment she was scared of getting so close to bears but she fell in love with this man who seemed to have this magical connection with bears and so she joined him .


And they both devoted their lives to the bears often timothy would say how he would die to protect the bears


Anyway things went on …..and then in 2003 they did a trip late in the year to Alaska and they went and camped back on one of the bear trails .


Now when bears get ready to hibernate they get might hungry, and this had been a hungry year for the bears, and with these bears you had the big bears chasing the little bears trying to eat them because bears are cannibals .


We are not sure about all that happened next, timothy was filming and put down the camcorder and for some reason it kept recording sound, and apparently there was a bear outside the tent and he got jumped by it and pinned down and most likely the bear started eating him .


And he called his girlfriend out to hit the bear on the nose with a frying pan they didn’t have guns, and she apparently did that although she was little only 5 foot and then in amongst the screams he told her to run but it was to late and the bear or bears caught her to and started eating her too .


The tape went on for I think 8 minutes and apparently is pretty graphic as the two of them get eaten, we don’t know how long it took for them both to die but at the end all you hears is the screams melding into the sound of eating growling bears ……


Next day the pilot who dropped them off came back and as he was getting out of the aircraft he was attacked by bears but he managed to escape and call the forest rangers

They came on scene and shot two bears thinking it was possible that maybe either timothy or his girlfriend were still alive, but while searching for them found their remains cached in a bear food cache .
When they came back next day one of the dead bears had been eaten by the other bears and the other bear contained human remains .


Anyway the thing was timothy had some idea of what bears were but it was a false idea .
to the bears timothy was just meat .
bears dont think the same as humans male bears have to be kept away from baby bears for example because if they get close to them they will eat them


And really why devote your life to something that doesn’t care about you ,why say you would die for something like that ?
to me it’s a interesting story in that often people just base their future on surface what a thing appears to be to them and not what it truly is .

we are brought up with a view of nature and animals that is false, there is a film of timothy seeing some bears run towards him across a field and he has this look of total joy when really if he really understood nature he should have been getting out of the way of a very dangerous predator .

well at the moment they are well fed so I feel kinda safe the bears in the story were outdoor wild bears , boris and henry are house bears .
but if things get hard I will start to worry

well I fear more for you living in the big city a well known haunt of people who make people into cake and such .
rather than me living with some cute harmless bears far away from the big city

i know that this is TOTALLY off the point but i had a dream last night about bears that were like a thousand or a million years more evolved then the common kinds we have, and i was a reporter that had to go up and talk to some crazy old guy that claimed he could talk to bears, and when i got up their al the bears were kinda huminoid looking and could talk english and were very civilised

well thats my fun dreams anyway
