Ok my dreams are random as like all get out.. My dream i hade today was that i had been in my house and i hear scream and my parents are dead, so i run out of my house, (my house in the dream looks normal but when i look up its a like dusk sky) so i run outside into an actuall night sky.... where i aventually run in to a city where it is bright, and i look around, looks very metal and industral, there are alot of people. then a big flood happends (i dunno why) but my view goes into like 3rd person, i end up seeing all these gates open and water flys out into the city killing alot of people, well so i think. so my view is looking at the water poutring out, its like 50 feet tall and they all come together and i see in the water a girls face, well the lips and chin part at least. then it end and some how im walking out and seeing the water going down the drain. now im walkin around and im in a field with the city behind me, im trying to get throu a fence and theres a plant pokeing me.. but i eventually get thoru. i end up in a for way street.. and no cars are around.. so i guess i go back throu the fence back to the city then near my home and at my home its still dark, i go to my house and i see my dads body proped up on the truck.. i walk inside where i can see the dusk sky and far away but there are inside appliances, strange. so i call the police they come and there is this thing going around and i know it killed my parents, its very small and im paranoid so im aginst the wall, i tell the officer to stay agianst something.. then i wake up...
The police signify Angels, protection. The flood signifies people losing faith and hope when a calamity or disaster happens. This is what I call a neighbourhood dream, where your part of society is to go through some emotional trauma (like the steel mill closing and everyone in town loses their jobs, for example). Your seeing yourself in the third person whows that you emotionally detach yourself from the situation. You will see opportunity amonst the ruin (dead bodies). But at some level you will be affected because those around you will be affected, so you'll become empathic and sympathetic.
