Please check out my radio show sometime. It's on every Tuesday for two hours; just go to the website in my signature. It's a '60s show, but its focus is on garage and psych. I do throw in some folk and blues, though. Here are a few songs I've played on recent shows: The Pretty Things - "Defecting Grey" The Stooges - "I Wanna Be Your Dog" The Leaves - "Hey Joe" Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - "Plastic Factory" The Velvet Underground - "Run Run Run" Tomorrow - "Auntie Mary's Dress Shop" The Seeds - "Pushin' Too Hard" The Count Five - "Pretty Big Mouth" King Crimson - "I Talk to the Wind" The Beau Brummels - "Nine Pound Hammer" The 13th Floor Elevators - "Thru the Rhythm" Pink Floyd - "Let There Be More Light" The Deep - "Turned On" The Blues Magoos - "Pipe Dream" The Golden Dawn - "Starvation" Blue Cheer - "Parchment Farm" Dr. Spec's Optical Illusion - "She's the One" The Elastik Band - "Spazz" The Dirty Wurds - "Why" The Yardbirds - "Rack My Mind" Michael Yonkers Band - "Kill the Enemy" Scorpio Tube - "Yellow Listen" So tune in some time if you want to hear more of the same.
Well, I found this website for a garage rock radio show, and they posted 100 or so MP3's of their favorite garage rock songs. So, I downloaded all of the ones I didn't already have. I found the MP3 at the website. I'll try to find the website, if you want.
Seriously? Awesome! I'm glad someone actually listened, and I'm especially glad that you liked it. Very nice...
I will tune in next tuesday, I guess... but I have classes till 2:30, so I can only catch 30 minutes of it
