If you dont know who they are, check them out. simply amazing. theyve got this psychedelic sound, but theyre from the 90s.
Yeah from what I've heard they are pretty cool. I you haven't seen it already, i really recommend this documentary called DIG! - It's about the Brian jonestown massacre and the Dandy Warhols when they were just starting to lift off. it's absolutely awesome, funny, insightful - a truly great rock doco that is backed by wicked music.
Anton Newcombe is the greatest songwriter to come around since the Beatles broke up. Seriously, go to their website and listen. After that, get the two Out Crowd albums (Matt Hollywood from BJM's band), and don't forget to download the three songs on the BJM website by the Dilettantes (Joel Gion's new band).
