Belegs right, Just because you hate him doesn't mean vancouver is a bad city. Keep your personal arguments out of the MJ forums. If you have a problem with someone, PM them.
what are you on the forum for? to raise your self esteem by 'getting back' at others by calling them names?
lol all ive got of my own pictures of my hometown are these boring photos of what I see when i pop my head out the window for a smoke (my street). I live in one of the more inner city suburbs, so there are no individual houses, just terraces on my side, and galleries and workshops on the otherside, as well as the chinese business embassy with the sattelite. to the left and right of the big tree that i didnt photo, and actually spend more time looking at the most unfortunate part of this view is that the whole city skyline starts at the little buildings furthest to teh right.. the big buildings are not viewable because the row of houses points directly towards it, so i only get to look at several tallish buildings, and the rest is the sky. the view of the backyards is wonderful but i dont have that bedroom anymore
Bill, looking at the sky is far better than looking at some ugly postmodernist tumor of a building. I guess maybe Sydney might have better looking buildings than other cities I've seen, but still. By the way, that's kinda cool, the view from your window, you can see all the people moving around and stuff. All I can see out my window is my backyard (which isn't real bad, though). And at least the side of your building isn't real boring and flat. Hey, maybe you could go up to your roof, somehow? You'd get a much better view. I do that on my house, but all I can see is some houses and trees, being in the suburbs means not only is nothing interesting happening, but also, all that you see is really fake looking. Suburbs are supposed to be "the city in the country" but it's just overtrimmed trees planted in lines along a street, masses of telephone wires, and light pollution.
yeh, its great looking at people, but theres nothin happenin in those pictures same with the sky but once again the pictures dont show much. if i could capture the skyline it would look good though. i like the look of skylines having a cluster of buildings in the city area. large shiny termite mounds. i can get onto my roof by climbing through the skylight windows (attic is converted into a room, once my bedroom actually), but i would not want to risk being 4 storeys up on a little roof while on drugs
