    I really dig abbey too. I have read everything of his that I can get my hands on. I don't have the list in front of me but I think that most of the stuff that I have missed is his earlier novels.

    Desert Solitaire...That depiction of the young boy sun-baked on the log drifting down stream has forever stuck with me.. Some really vivid things going on...
