    Wandering in Kiwi Land
I may have a chance to visit in March. Do you think the tourist season will have eased off a bit by then? I was in Queenstown in Feb and there were so many people on there way to Fiordland that I went off exploring a different area. But I'd love to make it all the way to Milford this time.
    Peace

South island way better to live in than the north, well as my understanding is. Heaps on fresh country air down there and the North island is to Commercialised

omg. Southland is the coolest place alive. I had the best weekend - a group of ten of us went to the Annual Waikaia Rugby Club Caberet. It was sooo funny - waikaia is a town about 45 mins south of Gore, and it is tiny - but fantastic. It was the best night - every stereotype of the country was confirmed for us, and we confirmed every city streotype for them - from a paddock of swedes to my mate Luke getting punched by an angry member of the southland women's rugby team - it was an awesome, awesome night.

Good thing to experience down south is staying in Roxburgh which is a small town about 30mins east of Alexandra. Stay there and pick fruit over Summer time at the Backpackers, you meet the most amazing people and make friends for life
