Franz Ferdinand - You Could Have It So Much Better

I had high expectations of the new Franz Ferdinand after seeing them live and hearing some of the new songs at the Lowlands festival but "You Could Have It So Much Better" isn't a step forward in my opinion...more of the same ,except that the songs are less catchy and they play a bit louder.

I'm sure it will grow on me like the first FF but for now It could have been so much better.

I saw their newest video and wasn't too impressed...then again the only song I've heard by them is that other one they had the video for...you know that one...."and if you leave me, you leave me broken shattered...something..."





Yeah....

 

i like it alright, but there are plenty of tracks that are rather similar to their debut, and they just arent as good. I enjoy Fallen, Well That Was Easy, and Fade Together the most, and im starting to warm up to Do You Want To. I will have to listen to it a few more times...

They've really created their own sound, this franz ferdinand post punk sound. It's god a bit more depth to the music than the first one, it's excellent. Im very excited about what franz ferdinand might release in years to come....
