The skin of a love again -
    The crisp white-green of afternoon
    When light shines through
    The leaves of tall trees,
In a place we haven't faced
    For a while.

    That life was lead
    Too many ships ago,
    And we crossed paths then
    And we'll do it again,
But for now the sail is lit,
    We are ablaze -
    Masking hearts of discontent.
I saw your soul once -
We only lifted a few feet.
    It was bright then,
    but faded under my flesh.

    Which colour are your eyes?
    Blue or green?
    A thoughtful perception never
    Seemed
    So few and Far between.

    Why do we always gain
    What we wanted before
    We lost?
    Simple matters ended
    When our paths crossed...

    Pretty lame i guess...
