The skin of a love again - The crisp white-green of afternoon When light shines through The leaves of tall trees, In a place we haven't faced For a while. That life was lead Too many ships ago, And we crossed paths then And we'll do it again, But for now the sail is lit, We are ablaze - Masking hearts of discontent. I saw your soul once - We only lifted a few feet. It was bright then, but faded under my flesh. Which colour are your eyes? Blue or green? A thoughtful perception never Seemed So few and Far between. Why do we always gain What we wanted before We lost? Simple matters ended When our paths crossed... Pretty lame i guess...
the first part of the poem i really like, its not lame... maybe work on the ending a little, but thats all. I think you did a good job, the first part of your poem kicks ass
hey clockwork orange just browsing over lots of poems at the mo! Liking this piece. there's something about the 1st stanza i quite like...the peaceful image of memory..
