howdy folks just reaching out to all the families in the area, philly for as long as i can remember has had really active & wonderful potlucks & picnics but the last 2 years we hit a rough patch, everyone who had a house suitable for potlucks had been dealing with personal issues & were no longer able to offer theyre hospitality, we continued having them at varius outdoor locationsm but since they were outdoors we tried starting them in the afternoon instead of evenings, & hardly anyone showed up. there are many folks in the area dying for things to get back the way they used to be, & i know theres many folks in the area who have never even been to any of the potlucks.. well those are the folks i really want to hear from, if you have a house you can offer, the potlucks are the second saturday of every month, typicaly 5-whenever.. if we had just 3-4 houses on a rotation, thats 3-4 potlucks a year at each house..& thats all we need to revive a once very active family. www.phillyrainbowfamily.org lovin you
I know a bunch of people right here who host energy transfers every other weekend, and I could talk to them about possibly doing something like that, although I wouldnt be able to go as I have to much going on in my life right now. But I will definitley put the word out for you guys.
Hey erin, no not yet, kristen is due on novemember 1st, but her cervix is thinned out so they say it might be any day now. We are getting really excited!

ok, sorry for the offtopic stuff! Had to know... what I was going to orignally say was I'm checking out some upstate property now and I found 10 arces I am considering to buy. If so, philly rainbow family (and of course rainbow family anywhere) would be welcome up for potlucks, weekends, whatever. The only prob is the area is about 2 to 3 hours away from philly. I'd say it'd be worth it though for all the open fresh area! I'll keep ya updated. By the end of the October I will have seen the whole property and I'll be able to let you know. I really hope this works out, I'm needing this peace! lol
awesome, what area is it in? we've tried keeping the potlucks in the city cause some folks used to come up from baltimore alot (easy to find in the city) & alot of folks like me dont have vehicles.. but we could do something a couple hours away & see how it works out..
Bloomsburg area. My fiance is getting a degree up at the Bloomsburg university right now so I'm looking into stay up there (many more years of school to come for him, yuck). My future mother in law is a real estate agent and finding me all kinds of things so chances are I will find some land but it will be up north more likely.
hmmm loooks likea bit of a hike, but might be cool.. keep me posted..& lets hope we still find a couple spots in or near the city too

Yo...soaringeagle... It's me...Ham'diya ..I have moved out the neighborhood into a house in Germantown.. except for Nikki and Tom, I don't know any of the Rainbow heads in the area. Yep..yer right the rainbow don't shine as bright in Philly like it use to.Did you go to any of the gatherings this year? And what about "anybody's kitchen"..do you know if there are any efforts to connect with the kitchen to maybe add a little relief for the hurrican victims...what is happening? Peace Out and within

I'm not in Philly, I'm actually a few hours east. Just south of Gettysburg in Littlestown. But, It looks like there are a few people between Philly and here that could possibly caravan or carpool. This is redneckville, but I've never had any problems with the neighbors. By the way Soaringeagle, how are you? My wife and I met you at the national this summer at the gate. Her and my sister were the two at the gate with the baby. Anyway, talk to everyone and see if this will be an OK location. Like I said it's not the closest place, but it's available. Love and Hugz.
