    1) If the rich get richer the poor will get poorer? True?

    2) Millionaire status is not static, you can have more millionaires without others losing their status? Does someone else have to lose their millionaire status for you to become a millionaire?

    3) The last three years we've seen more Americans get to millionaire status than at any other time in history. There are more of them that means the number is going up does this mean there are more poor? So basically what I am trying to say is does for someone to become a millionaire does there have to be many other poor ones? In addition does the increase of millionaires increase poverty, inequalities, injustices and unequal wealth distribution?

    4) Do the millionaires own their status because without the workers that helped them own their status they are nothing?

    5) Should they workers have more privileges over the wealth they help created instead of just receiving the monthly or weakly paycheck that sometimes is not even the same value or worth as the work?

    6) People say with hard work and dedication anyone can become a millionaire and if you don't you haven't worked hard enough? What is the likability of becoming one? But I say no matter how much dedication some will never make it because there is got to be losers and winners.

    7) In capitalist society is poverty elimination realistic?

    1. not necessarily.

    2. yes, no

    3. more millionaires today just means that a dollar today is worth less than it used to be, so it is now easier to be a millionare. inflation

    4. There's a lot of millionaires who worked their ass off for years, are smart with their money, and are very skilled and knowledgeable in their chosen field.

    5. Let the workers run the business for a while, and see if they can handle it, most probably can't.

    6. I think it is a combination of learning, hard work, and spending money wisely. There's a ton of people who live richly but actually have less money than someone you might think is "poor".

    7. I don't know, maybe, but I doubt any of us will see the day that happens.

This does not have to be the case, but it often is.

Being a millioniare is not a zero sum game, neither is economics.

It is much easier to fall into poverty than it is to become a millionaire. While there are more millionaires then ever before, a great many more people have fallen into poverty. Something close to a million people fell into poverty last year alone, how many people became millionaires in 2004 ?

Where would Bill Gates be today if he had not been able to find anyone willing to work for him in the early days ? Where would Michael Dell be if no one had beleived in him and went to work for IBM or Compaq instead ?

I don't think so, I beleive in the old labor union slogan, "A fair day's wage for a fair day's work.", nothing more, nothing less.

This is a myth, if all it took was hard work and dedication to become wealthy, 50% of America would be millionaires. There are a multitude of things that can go wrong that you don't have control over. You get into a car accident with an uninsured motorist and spend 12 weeks in the hospital, your child gets leukemia, you get laid off and it takes you 6 months to find a new job,the list goes on and on.
America has been a capitalist society for its entire history, if the elimination of poverty were going to happen, it would have by now.
