22 y old student (well, Ill be taking a year break now) from Poland. I'll write something more later on. Any Poles here? (I've seen one girl )
Hello. My family came from Poland to the United States in the early part of the 20th century (between the First and Second World Wars). I have visited Poland via ORBIS when it was still a communist country. Saw Warsaw, Poznan, Czestochowa, Gdynia, Gdansk, Sopot, Bydgoszcz, Torun, and Krakow. I ate bigos, golapki, piernigi, paczki, and barszcz. I've seen churches, town halls, fashion centers and Syrena. Poland is a beautiful country that is rich in history. Where in Poland do you live?
Hey, mrplant I once had some, "msplant." lol Let me extend the welcome mat. I recently found “The Hip Forums” myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to “Flame” you, that just isn’t tolerated here. From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, kick back and stay awhile.
welcome mrplant... my family are from Poznan originaly... but now mainly Turek and Warsaw... Poznan is a beautiful city.... Stary Rynek especially so..
