Well, I am not going to get involved with the attention-seeking thing because I do not know the folks so I could not make a judgment. However much of the front of the head is served by the facial nerve. That makes for direct cranial nerve pain, which can be fairly big stuff on the pain meter, Just depends on where and what type of injury we are talking about. I always went by the rule that when a patient said they hurt then they hurt.
I have the tool to pull the staples with. When my wife and I went in to get the staples pulled from her stomach, the doc was just going to throw it away. So I talked him into giving it to me instead.
Same thing happened with me when I got some stitches once, they just throw all that stuff away they let me take it with me. Nice little snips and tweezers and some other things.
I got some great little snips and such from when they took stitches outa my chin-and did a terrible job-still have a scar... I was feeling sick, so they took a cat scan...and sure enough they found a cat-i'm allergic so thats why i was sick...anywaaaaay.....
