stevens and lopez have been wanting to put a band together for a long long time, its cool to see that theyre finally touring.

its too bad that the bassist from blind melon (forgot his name) aint playing with them... he wrote most of their songs. brad smith maybe?

YES YES YES! The Tender Trio rules!! They have been together for quite a while now though... They first started out as "Sparticle", then changed their name to "The Quick" and are now called "The Tender Trio"... They're the same band though... I have a few demos from their "Sparticle" days and I love it (and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Blind Melon fan and love Rogers to pieces!). They were supposed to come to Toronto sometime last year but had problems at the boarder... I almost went to New York last year to see them but I ended up travelling to Brazil instead.

Anyway, yes soulrebel, the bass player's name is Brad Smith and he recorded an album in 2000 with Christopher Thorn (Melon's other guitarist), Dave Krusen (former Pearl Jam drummer) and Chris Shinn on vocals... they were called "Unified Theory" and put together some awesome tunes! You should check it out if you haven't already! :) I think they're producing records now... I'm not too sure.

Oh oh! And if you guys are melonheads, you should check out their new CD and DVD collection! The CD is a best of compilation and the DVD has a live show!

i've got that album and for the most part its not bad, except for a few songs, but thats a given... post-grunge is a genre that has had nothing good come out of it. :p

brad smith also put out a solo album under the name "Abandon Jalopy"
