tolerable physical pain,, how much can you take??

My knee seems to be doing well, im very aware of what I need to do to keep it from popping out, I even have a forest gump type brace for hard days at work.

Last thing I want is to be cut on.

 

kidney pain and a real absessed tooth ....

 

im going to join the f.a.r.c. and get shot .....im not getting cut open n fixed by the nazi scientists

 

I know what you mean kinda, though I've never had major surgery.. I kind of like to embrace the pain and feel it in it's fullest, then it's basically a continual relief from there on out..

 

I stayed at work for two hours when I broke my wrist and fractured 3 other bones in my arm. When I was 13 I finished a gymnastics competition after fracturing my ankle. I hate pain but have an insane tolerance for physical pain unless it's a tummy ache or a cold then I act like a baby.

 

i guess i can handle a lot when i have to. surprisingly.

but i will cry from time to time.

 

yes folks ....try try try ....not.... to slice ,smash, burn or otherwise hurt yourself ....its not worth it ...take it slow and be carefull !!

 

if i'm playing a sport or a competitive game of some sorts, i'll finish the game, pretty much no matter what the injury was. i've continued to play in a soccer game after breaking 3 ribs. i've played soccer with a full hamstring tear. i continued to play 3 games of British Bulldog after i tore my meniscus and then refused help from my friend becasue i couldnt' get up off the ground after the 3rd game had ended because some kid had a bloody nose. when my adrenaline is flowing, i don't feel pain...

worst pain, for me, was when i fractured one of my front tooth vertically and horizontal and the dentist had to use this huge needle and put it in my gums.

 

uhh when i broke my knee cap into several pieces and tore my acl at the same time.

i dunno man, i've had a badly smashed up arm....going through bleedin' hell infected wisdom teeth atta mo'......but nothing has ever floored me faster than a hefty kick inna balls

 

Dilli is right, childbirth isn't the most painful thing.....yeah it hurts but it's a different kind of pain, and it's over afterwards. Just gone.

I had some inflamed stitches after the first one (sorry for the TMI) and I couldn't move the pain was so bad. The docs put me back in the hospital after they saw I was burning myself with a hot water bottle to combat the other pain.... Childbirth was nothing in comparison.

 

I have a plug in the back of my head, surgically implanted into the pain receptor in my brain. I can plug my machine into it and put all kinds of random electrical impulses or anything i want into it. I have felt the most intense pain possible. and it caused an orgasm

ironically the time it didn't hurt I nailed my head on a dumbell and bit a hole in my tongue.... didn't even even know till seven hours later.....

that was a shitty day......

 

i have a very high tolerence for pain, but when i broke my back the pain was itteraly unbearable so i was happy for th drugs..but i got off them as quickly as possible..
even now my back is in a hell of allotta pain often, but i refuse to ever take pain meds.. i either get a backrub or just lie down awhile
to me the fuzzyness of the pain meds is far worse then the pain..
i used to even get my teeth drilled with no novaicain cause i hated the numbness worse then the pain..but now i thinki'd rther just be knocked out & not have either..
