If John Lennon was still alive then yesterday he would have been 65. I hope the bastard that killed him burns in hell forever. I love you John.
i read a article about the person who killed him it said something like i killed him cause i wanted to be as famous as he is. He was a great man - Happy birthday again john
not trying to be a downer, but i think his death was possibly the most well-known point in beatles history. for example: just the other day i was talking to my friend about the beatles(well, it was more like the other month) and he had no clue who they were. he is a fellow pk and he is deprived from alot of good music. but anyway, i said john lennon and automatically he said,"thats the guy who got shot right?" i think that its only natural to remember that point in history.
That is so weird--to never have heard of the Beatles. *mind boggles* You should've tried singing "She Loves You". I don't believe his murder is the most well-known point in Beatles history. No way. Maybe in some dramatic, necrocentric universe but not in the one I know. (There are so many gigantic, groundbreaking moments in the Beatles' career that it's hard to pick one out and say--THIS IS IT, THE MOST WELL-KNOWN POINT OF THEIR CAREER. Perhaps their breakup.)
i meant he had never heard the beatles. of course he had heard of the beatles. he just knew nothing about them. and it was crazy that he knew about lennon after not even knowing what i was singing when i said, "she loves you, yeah yeah yeah yeah?"
he doesnt know who linkin park is. led zepplin, the who. hes heard of metallica, but never heard anything by them.. lots of stuff actually. the rents are holding him down.
Ditto. It's funny though: a lot of people know the music, but don't know the Beatles sing it. Today I sang the repetoire of Beatles' Most Famous Songs to someone claiming she'd never heard the Beatles, and she knew every song.
