more scrappy madness..

I made another scrappy skirt..
im still working from most of the same scraps..i added in a lil bit of dark red this go around...im pretty much sick of looking at scraps now... i see fabric shopping on the horizon..
i think this one turned out ok..i like the first one better tho i think...I was gonna put a pocket on this one but after i cut it out n looked at it i didnt like it...so its goin as is..

the border came about when i made the top part a lot shorter than i planned..i wanted it short enough for a shorter mama or a taller one with a long skirt under it mebbie but not that short...i was gonna make pants outta that green cord...i may still have enough..
im up to my tits in custom kiddo overalls..

me either. I have bags and tubs of scraps. all color coordinated. yes, i am a freak. i color coordinated them while very pregnant a year ago and have kept the coordinating up. it sure makes patchworkin easy.

I AM SO JEALOUS OF YOU!! i wish i was half as organized as you cre... you should check out my sewing room... i wish i had a camera to post pictures.... seriously, its a hazard zone! as a joke, my boyfriend taped that yellow caution tape all over door to my sewing room....

 

My sewing area gets pretty damn messy but my scraps all get stuffed in a drawer...when I want to use them I have to dump them out and pick out the ones i want...thats a pain in the fanny...
my sewing area is the family puter area as well so i have to keep it somewhat clean..and my youngest has a love for getting into all my crap over here...lol. just today i found pen marks on my monitor...what an angel..
