Why can't they just make the fuckin' hobbit?
I love that book...I wish it was part of the series.

I fucking hate the lord of thie rings. It wasnt a fucking novel, it was tolkiens encylopedia of middle earth. it doesnt make for good reading.

 

i enjoyed the movies...i tried to read the books, but i could never get into it.

Hobbit was a novel.
It made for good reading.
As far as the other novels, they were too awkward.
They didn't flow.
