    anyone know if it exists? i thought i read reports on it bout 3 years ago, unsure though.

    Is this the light propularions where you have a solar sail? In which case it should work but its never been tested but the principleis used elsewhere. We had a discussion about it here a while ago and whether or not it violated thermodynamics (I dont think it does).

    i am in no was a physicist but i remember reading about a device which was encased in glass which was filled with a very (un-dense?) gas. there was a spindle going through the centre and coming out from the spindle were small flat shapes which were reflective on one side and matt black on the other, i recall that teh reflective side propelled the spindle around because teh matt side absorbed teh light energy
