Hello fellow stoners! I have a bit of a predicament I'm in. I love weed. I smoke it spiritually, recreationally, and medically for arthritis. However, my mom has become a money nazi lately. I work a part time job at Taco Bell. I make about 200 bucks every 2 weeks. However, as of late, my mom won't give me my entire cut of the paycheck. She's supposed to take what she needs for my car insurance and the rest is supposed to be mine. However, she keeps most in the bank and has started giving me a 50 dollar allowance every week. Then, when i go buy some bud, I come home and she wants me to spend MY money to pay for milk. I tell her I don't have it and she goes off about "WHERE IS ALL YOUR MONEY?" and I tell her I spent is on food. Then she gets leery. I can't tell her I spent it on a game or something because she's involved herself in EVERYTHING I do. Does anyone else have this same problem?
Just go buy a game for ten bucks and say it was fifty bucks. Or just get your own bank account if you can and have your money go there. It's your oney you worked for and you should be able to spend it how you want.
yeah seriously, if ur old enough to smoke weed and hold a job you should be old enough to take care of your own finances. btw if u only make 100 bucks per week id say 50 dollars per week as an allowance should be the max spent anyway. I'd hate to work at Taco Bell and not have anything to show for it....
I had that problem at the begining of this year But what I did was just saved my money for about 2 months and just bought alot and sold it and so on and so on, now I always have extra money for weed and when my dad asks to see my money I always have at least 600 on me now.
I have a similar problem with money and a mother who is always questioning where my cash goes. However, I've been trying to get a job and don't have one yet. So this is just my allowance and shit that I've been buying small amounts of bud with. Not that I didn't earn it or anything, the money is still mine. Anyway, I just say I must have bought some food with it, because there would be no evidence in that situation.
^^i was thinking the same thing Its your money man...get your own bank account and have your work direct transfer your paycheck to your account, also have your insurance company take your payment directly out of your account. If you owe your mother extra money, you can withdraw it yourself and pay her in cash. this way you'll see on your statement every month exactly where all your money went. No one should have access to your own money but you, it creates too much problems otherwise.
