Are we self segragating, creating little enclaves based on nationality, are we so xenophobic that we have to ignore each other if we aren't from the same country or something??

I have been posting art in here now close to a year and i've watched this over and over and even i have become part of the problem.

    Or is it favortisim?

I notice if a american posts art in here only americans reply.

I notice if someone else from a different country posts art in here(mostly UK) only (mostly uk replys)

and then if comments from the other country is butted in it is ignored.

I sound political don't i? well maybe i'm getting at that, but i'm irritated there has been plenty of times i've made comments on varies artists works in here from all over and i'm completely ignored i get this cold shoulder vibe if its NOT my country, and i don't think i'm playing dilusional(and i will say this isn't the case will everyone there is a few that bend this rule)

I would like to see more interaction in here. Why can't we interact instead of just posting our art and replying only on OUR friends stuff. try openmindedness.

now i'm ready to get bitched at.

or we can have a disscussion on this topic.

    go.

i see that too... but UK also has it's own separate forums, including arts and crafts right? they're pretty segregated from the rest of the forums... personally i feel weird even looking in there, like i don't belong.

most of the uk folk have moved to www.ukhippy.com now anyway. But whats wrong with having your own forum? It has more of a community feel.

i prefer for us all, as apparent loving humans to be on one whole forum, i like the idea of discussing art or anything from someone pespectives from around the globe, i can see why some people feel safer with their own community which could be described as a type of subconscience discrimination to others, i prefer the whole forum because then we get all views from all over the world as one world not seperate,
    peace and love michael x

Its not so much about that i guess, it is about when we are posting in this ART forum right here, where here we forget how to interact like neither one exists.

i haven't noticed this so much but then I haven't been around as much as most people. When i posted my photos here I think everyone who replied was out of the UK (and I'm in the UK) so nah i haven't noticed it.
It's sad if it is like that in some cases though :(

well if we notice it or not, i'd like to make a notion that we make a effort to not let this happen in here.

artist of all types from all over should support each other, not supress.

I don't personally comment on any thread really... To be completely honest the few I have posted on, I don't bother to check the origin of the artist. ;)
I do however make it a point to read all of the new threads & I check here as well as a 3 or four other forums at least twice a day for those new posts. Again I don't only read certain ones & I personally only ever reply if I have something to say. If what you're saying however is true, that really is a shame.
