If you have read "The Real Frank Zappa Book" autobiography this book needs to go with it. I have been an avid Uncle Frank Freak for a decade + now and this ties up lot's of loose ends in the musical and other milestones of this genius' life.

Buy it, read it and get back to me!

Thanks for the tip-off.I've read quite a few Frank Zappa bios but not this one by Barry Miles.I find that the majority of them say much the same thing.

Zappa was a Rock 'n' Roll original & he & Ray Stevens,The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band & a few others injected much needed humour & conviviality into this often acerbic & nihilistic music.

It might be the guy who wrote: 'The Many Lives Of John Lennon' .Paul McCartney said it was all deceitful lies etc.
Barry Miles knew John Lennon quite well & wouldn't need to make anything up about him.
Miles did a fantastic book on 'The Pink Floyd' in 1980.He was their champion from their very earliest days.
