I get really depressed whenever i think of his death. He was such an incredibly influencial icon. Does anyone else feel this way? I dont know. I just watched a behind the music on him and now i feel like shit. It's just gonna keep happening though and i know i need to get over this but i never seem able to. Ever since i really started listening to them about a year and a half ago its been like this. I really wish he wouldnt have died. Do you think he did it himself or Courtney was involved? I used to think Courtney was involved but ont the behind the music it showed alot more about his life before he died. I guess he took a deadly dose of heroin and went into his house and shot himself with a shotgun. R.I.P Kurt.

Wow, this is so creepy...that's how I used to feel, but I got over it quick, lol. You will too. It's ok, he's dead, but you can still listen to his music, his music is amazing, so that is what keeps him going. The music. So, hope you enjoy. :)

i doubt it i really do, i think one of the only reasons that the legend of kurt has gone on is cos he died...

he didnt embody grunge or rock music, thats just media hype, which im afraid to say was a lot of the kurt ideal

    and i really like kurt!

The reason he became a heroin addict was because he felt like a junkie because he had a stomach disease that was really severe and so he decided if he was gonna feel like a junkie he might as well be one. And i have gotten over the fact he died and that he's dead. I think one of the most depressing things about the subject is that we will never know how he died. I know he might not have been even close to as famous in life as he was in death but that doesnt mean his ideas wont always be influencial. He was definitely one of the biggest influences of that time. And you are right everyone he made sopme damn good music.

i dont doubt it, he was influencial, i just think that a lot of kurts legacy is purely a result of media hype

it seems weird. i was too young to have really remembered or been affected by his death, but it just seems weird to think he's gone. for some reason, i don't get depressed when i think of him being dead cuz i've never really felt like he's dead. it seems like he's still here. weird, but i'm a weird chick...

    I agree with Spyder.

He died, nothing's gonna change that. Atleast it stopped him for going truely insane... Har har.

Everyone's always going on about how great he was and how he spoke for a generation, I think that's rubbish. It's all just hype.

I really wish that 'smells like teen spirit' was never released, I reckon that was the reason he killed himself, hahahaha.

BTW, I'm a huge Nirvana fan, and I do admire Kurt Cobain, but I don't think I admire him for the same reasons lots of other people do...
