Last Monday I got stoned before a choir rehearsal. Some people would think I was crazy, because our choir is really competitive and serious, but I thought I'd be careful and not say much. My God, it was incredible. We're doing the Mozart Mass in C. I'm a soprano, and in the piece, we basically sing extremely high notes for the whole thing. It was like I was soaring with my voice. The rest of the parts, all the other harmonies and soundwaves, were wrapping around my body and mingling with the sound that issued from the depths of my own soul. I wasn't just singing the music. I WAS the music. The weird part is, my technique was flawless. My voice didn't hurt afterward, and everybody said I was leading the sopranos. Anybody else had cool experiences with performing or listening to music while high?
Yea man sometimes Ill get high and play guitar and its like so holy man like the music is being communicated through me from Jah
im 2nd chair first trumpet in the band, and 1st chair is alot better. Well one day i wake adn baked, and i was playing sooo much better than him. It was nuts and hes very competetive and got very mad.
Yeah, you'd think you'd be worse, huh? I guess MJ allows you to focus on what you're doing more, I dunno.
I dont really have a story but i know when i'm baked i can focus on certain instruments in songs a hell of alot better than sober.
i agree that marijuana causes you to focus on what yer doing, but ONLY if its enjoyable. sometimes i try doing homework high and i cant focus at all! que horrible!!
I can't play an instrument so I usually just listen to either Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, or some of The Beatles' stuff.
The other day I got stoned and my friend was driving around with me in the car. She decided to listen to Alexis On Fire and I was bugging out. I couldn't stand it! It was so angry and depressing and loud!! It made me very sad Then I convinced her to put on Sublime and I was good after that
