If I took DXM when I was still on concerta would that be bad for me? Would it give me a different affect or... if anyone knows, what would it do?
i dont think it would do anything particularly bad except if anything id be worried about your heart, it can start beating fast or irregularly and the concerta being there constantly would not help
dxm isn't too good for you anyways, but yea, might mess with your heart a little bit depending on when u took both, and how much u took
both can seriously alter your heartbeat and possibly your blood pressure (i'm not sure, i wouldnt be surprised) not to mention increased chance of getting sick, and being more jittery and anxious. neither one is exactly good for you. i wouldnt recommend mixing them, but largely its because i would personally find it severely unpleasant. i think it would be pushing it, but if you're used to the amount of concerta you're taking, you might be able to handle it. i'd suggest using a smaller than usual amount of dxm....preferably as small as none at all....
I love concerta... Helped me in school A LOT then they took me off of it and my marks are suffering because the doctors dont want me getting addicted... I'd rather have a high paying job, a great education and an addiction to something that makes me think better than not do it and suck ass at life!
i agree with nesta DXM can cause tachycardia (racing, pounding heart) and speed causes increased heart rate (tachycardia),increased blood pressure ,irregular heartbeat (palpitations, arrhythmia),your heart is going to be working hard with that much stress that realy unhealthy,porblaby not enough to kill unless you take a high dose but still you heart is very important thats why i stay away from stimulants and drugs that effect the heart that much
