No, not actual Adaptation, but the movie 'Adaptation'. I just saw it yesterday, and I wanted to see it again immeadiatly. It's by the creators of 'Being John Malcavich', but I think it is much better. It was extremely clever, and everything seemed to make sence in the end. It was beautiful, and real. I love this movie, has anyone else seen it?

Yeah, I loved it, but for me it's really hard to watch a movie more than once. I loved "Adaptation" though. One thing that really caught my eye was how the movie got really Hollywood after Charlie confronted that movie scholar and went back on an idea on the script that he rejected at the beginning (about drugs). I think that just made the movie even quirkier than it already was up until that point.

I love that movie and everything Kaufman has ever wrote (except Human Nature).
It is great. I love how creative Kaufman is. Did you notice how the movie is credited to being written by Donald and Charlie Kaufman (the two brothers in the movie)? Charlie Kaufman wrote the "Being John Malcovich" script and such, but this is the first time his twin brother appeared as a write with him. Donald is a registered writer with the SGA too.
But the awesome thing is that Donald does not exist. Charlie created him for the movie and then extended his likness into the real world by telling people he is real and making marks by "Donald" certain places.
That is why the movie becomes very hollywoodish, because that is where "Donald" supposodly starts writing. Cool huh?
Sorry if you knew that already. But yes very good movie!

Wow, I didn't know that! That is really clever, but Kaufman is amazing.
How is Human Nature? I was recommended to see it, but I wasn't sure...I love all of Kaufman's other works though...

Human nature? It's all right. It was written well of course, but Chris Cunningham directed this one and it's kind of sub-par. If your really into Kaufman it's worth a watch, but I don't think I would ever watch it again. I think Confessions of a Dangerous Mind is a better movie to see that's been written by Kaufman though if you havn't seen that. Most people don't know he wrote that one either, sure it was directed by Clooney, but it's still got some charm.

Very good movie. I really enjoyed how it was filmed and how things jumped around. It is one of those movies that I can watch many times and that is rare for me.

Okay, thank you. I suppose I'll see them both, and maybe put a review up here. I've seen the review to Human Nature...it looks funny...but not as good as his other works. I'll look into Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
