i can not light a lighter. i've only been smoking a lot for the past few months, and i still can't light the damn lighter! i just decided to light some incense about 10 minutes ago and this lighter has yet to light! *whines* heeelp.
If it isnt out of fuel, then the flint must eather be out or not close enough to the wheel to make a spark. If you really need fire, find a candle, then go down to your stove and turn on one of the coils. Wait about a minute, then stick a rolled up piece of paper to the coil and get it caught on fire. Bring the paper up to the candle and light it.
what is it? a bic? you can try taking the safety off. (metal ring over metal wheel). wedge a knife point in between the metal wheel and ring on top, pull the knife handle down, and pop the ring off. makes it muccchhh easier to light.

But yeah, ditch the safety and it'll be a lot easier to light. If you still can't get it, get a lighter with only one button to push down. Those have an electric start and use butane most of the time.
so can you just not light any lighter any time with full fuel in it? because i know people who seriously just cant light lighters... just get one with a push down button but dont get a jet lighter that will toast your weed
You said it yourself... its a cheap lil piece of shit... theres your problem right there. If you invest in a nice BIC or a Cricket, you will know where the extra money went (aka: they dont suck ass, and can actually light good)... good luck
