It's well known that even low 'in the range of normal' T function is bad for men, even physically ---- but with George Bush's latest CRUSADE AGAINST STEROIDS noone wants to lose his licence. Besides, when was the last time you heard the term testosterone used without being used in a pejorative context? "Testosterone poisoning" "Testosterone laden" etc.

it's true. i won't deny that at all. which is funny, because most of my troubles seem to stem from wildly vacillating estrogen levels.....

i know i get pms mood swings, not only beacuse i experience irrational hatred and irritation at everything for no reason at the same time of the month every month, but when i was on birth control i noticed that i had no obvious signs of pms at all.

Yeah, I get mood swings extremely bad. To the point where I have to be on mood medication and go to therapy for my "suppressed rage" which seems to only come out about 1 week before and the week during my period. So boyfriend is only safe about 2 weeks of the month. Hopefully the medication will help. We'll see. However, being on birth control made it worse it seems to me and boyfriend. Don't know if that is true or not but it seems so. I have been off BC for a month and half now.

Ok, i can tell you that in my opinion, and at least in my case, it is not a hormone induced bitchiness. It is the crappy attitude that ensues after a week of intense stomache pain that often makes me bend over unable to walk. It's horrible. And people are like *you are exagerating* but man, it's horrible. And the worst thing is that I get this pain for about two weeks before my period. I only have about one week per month where my period is not causing me pain. It sucks.

    oh man shitty

some things that might help are excersize and nutrition (... seems to be the cure for about everything). there are "natural" things you can do like find out about hormonal balance and what you might be missing.

if that doesn't work, i'm sure a doctor could perscribe you something.

i get really bad cramps during my period. you know, thrashing around, curling up in a fetal position for hours, crying, would rather be dead (honestly), can't walk or do anything, wanting to destroy shit...

    it sucks

    here's a google search: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=natural+menstrual+pain+relief&btnG=Google+Search

all i gotta say is, i looooove my mirena IUD. no period. no real mood fluctuations (well my bipolar meds might help too lol), but no it hurts and it's stinky grouchiness...
but back when i did have a period, yes, it did affect me before hand, extra moody, and hurt so much during that i would be cranky

I actually don't mind having my period. I think it would be too strange without it. I just don't like being all moody and crazy.
