It's been a while! Well, she's here now!-well, was here 2 weeks ago her name is Leane (leanna) margrethe sarty, 9 lbs 3 oz and 21 3/4 inches long!...... I just wanted to let you all know! She's been keeping me running, and this is a scary time, but we're getting through it. She's actually letting me sleep through the night and everything! We've been having some problems with breastfeeding because she was kept in the hospital for 3 days after she was born because I gave her the flu when I had her and the nusery insisted on putting her on a bottle and not letting me stay to feed her cuz I was still sick. But things are starting to go better with that and I'm going to a La Leche Leage meeting on Tuesday. The Leader says that I'm just worrying too much and that I'm doing an awsome job, especially since all that we've been through, and should just keep trusting my instincts. But she just made a big stinky and I have to go and change her.
Congrats!!! Big healthy babies are the cutest (trust me, i know, hehe!), so i definately want to see some pics
Congratulations! They are so much fun.......hard work, but fun. Colorful~I didn't know you were pregnant! Yay!
Congratulations! The Grandkids are even better (grin). You get to send them home with their parents when you are done playing with them. You are going to do just fine you have got that can do spirit.
i remember you too and was wondering about you! congratulations!!!! the LLL leader is right, you've had a rough start, but you'll be okay! glad you found LLL, they can be so helpful! hope to hear more from you later. kathy
congratulations on your new love! take care and take care of yourself as well as your little one. Sounds like you have some good people around you helping you with all the little hiccups which are probaly relatively normal for most people so good luck and lots of loving. stephanie
wow big baby! i thought mine was big, skyler was 8lbs 3 oz. congrats! my lil boy is almost 3 months old, and it DOES get easier. and its so cool everytime they learn a new thing. you'll have fun!
thanx everyone! Yeah, the breastfeeding has been hard. I've been having to use a bottle too right now because my supply was shot to crap and we're working on building it back up. I've been going to beastfeeding clinics and talking to LLL a lot. Things are gradually getting easier. The postpartum blues hit me pretty hard, but it's getting better everyday. I want to put up some pics, but I'm trying to figure out how to do it. When I was loading one up the other day, it said that the file was too big.....I don't know how to make it any smaller. If someone could help, that would be great!
Easiest way i know how to do it, if you have "Paint" on your computer, is to hit "Image" on the toolbar, and choose "Stretch/Skew." Then just type in 50% (or whatever number you choose) for both the "horizontal" and "vertical" boxes, and you'll get a smaller pic.
