As for stage theatre goes, when you see a production, in your mind what really makes an actress shine? What does she, or he do that just steals the show, that makes you remember them..what make's them 'shine' in your opinion? [IMG]

When they've got everything down and it doesnt even look like they're trying, like its their natural habitat.

  3. when it's not over rehearsed, when the actor matches the lighting (which you can tell in a good ten seconds if you know what to look for) that nothing is fucked up, basicly I can only ask for nothing to go wrong.....

if a techie fucks up (less common then actors fucking up by far) and the actor works around it, that is admirable, and laudable even

but if an actor fucks up and blames a tech, they should suffer in all of dante's hells simultaneously and seperatly for all eternity.......

Personally i believe an actress or actor shines most when they blend perfectly with the scene and the other actors... and i dont mean blend in so much that your character is forgotten. When I watch a play i look for how the actors interact on stage and if it looks like some1 is trying to "steal the show" it usually takes away from it.. just my opinion.. im a professional stage actor/director/producer but the views in the business vary greatly
