Ok I have just finished my official study regarding the whole issue between Jet Lighters and Bic lighters. Early this morning around lunch I smoked a bowl out of my glass hand pipe. I have now just finished my second bowl of the day with a bic lighter. I must say I prefer the high that I'm at currently with the bic than the torch. My hoots definately went down smoother. So i have decided to invest in a couple of nice bics!

the torch destroys weed. you shouldnt use it for lighting your weed. bic is the stoner god's holy weapon.

Who the hell uses torches for lighting weed anyway? I know you are out there! Show yourself!

Even a normal bic lighter creates temperature high enough to destroy a large amount of THC in the bud. A torch lighter is just awful in this repsect. Really bad idea, save those torches fro glow rods or salvia!

You mean the safety? The little strip that covers the middle of the spark wheel? I just use pliers.

You can jam a knife in between the wheel and the metal shroud and pry the shroud off, then use your fingers to pull the safety clip off.

You can always tell a stoner by their lighter. The safety will be gone and there will be a thin coat of resin on the bottom ;)

yes yes I have only been smoking for 2-3 months and my friends who got me smoking all use torches (claim it burns the weed faster and the butane burns clean) and up till now i've believed them. I can actually taste the lighter fluid from a bic however so that was true but other than that its just so much easier to take a hoot with a bic. My eyes have been opened blah blah blah bash the noob so on and so forth.

That is true, actually. Torches burn much cleaner, but considering you are destroying way more THC, and making a much harsher/hotter smoke it just doesn't seem worth it.

Stick to glow rodding or get a nice pipe lighter with high quality butane. Taste much better than a bic.

As long as it aint a torch, and it lights a resonable size flame, then ill use it.

crazy? like take the face and put it on some porno?
    you sick bastard

lol but when getting the safety off the bic lighters, you gotta be violent. you cant be afraid of breaking the lighter. just get somthing thin and metal and jam it under the safety and pull it up like a lever. it will snap out and may hit someone in the eye

Oh that's not sick. Printing the face out and cutting a hole where the mouth would be is sick (and crazy) I enjoy taking everything one step further.

I too have noticed the danger of a flying bic safety. Such things must be done in the safety of a closet. Make sure to leave the face with cutout mouth on the table though, others will start to wonder (and wonder they will)
