Great job. A secret my mother taught me about sleeves is to put them in before you sew up the side seam. In school we were taught to sew the side seam and then set in the sleeve. Most of the time it is really just a continous seam from the wrist to the bottom hem. If you sew the sleeve in and then sew the side seam it is so much easier. I got in trouble in home ec because I did it that way and not the way the teacher wanted me to. Kathi
it is absolutely beautiful! i really like the shape of the top and the ruffles on the sleeve are sweet! great job mama!
Sheesh, you couldn't have done a nicer job. And Amen to what Dakota's Mom said. My aunt taught me the same trick and it works every time.
I love that top! I put in sleeves the cheating way, too. It's so much easier and I almost always make tops with sleeves because I have cold arms.
