    this be where i live atm.... pics are of...the general town, the cathedral, the own hall, the sculpture and the shopping centre...some signs....some shops that look old....chester has double tiered shopping....so like two rows of shops on top of one another like a layered effect...tis cool....its pretty here. lots of little cobbled backroads... mmm

    I love Chester and have spent a lot of time there. You ever eaten at the Ruan Orchid? Superb Thai food.

    no i hav not particularly branched out...i went to a cafe the other day that has live piano playing in the afternoon and really lovely atmosphere and an old fashioned lobby lift is its centerpiece.....lovely and good ol' hatties teashop lol....i shall try out that place u mentioned sounds yummy...

    chester is lush. i live 30mins away. i went out to reflex there the other night. gr8 place! though my mate jason peed through the gates of miss selfridge down the steps when we left the club at the end of the night *cringe*

    had a lovely long weekend in chester many years ago, very picturesque and got fond memories of it.......really must get back there someday soon :)

    i fully recommend a walk around the walls. go up on the clock tower over the main street and walk either way once youre up there. takes you down to the river, all around and its a beautiful walk. along the canals, seeing so many beautiful and backstreet type places. may decide to hook up with ya if i ever get a weekend off work to go shopping :)

    oh and on sundays they have the market if you havent already discovered it. its up by the small mcdonalds by the henry moore sculpture. some lovely stalls

    yeh its cool.....i been by the clock tower and river...and the market...mmmm....its all nice and things....
