I've been a vegetarian for a little while, and I really enjoy it. I can almost be considered vegan, because I don't have any dairy products, but I still eat eggs. I feel good about myself when I don't eat meat, and I really enjoy it.
But recently, I've been tested as being allergic to gluten. Therefor, I cannot have bread, wheat, barely, or oatmeal. In other words, next to everything.
So I gave up on being a vegitarian for a while, expecting I could always become one when my allergy goes away.
However, it is unlikely it will ever go away, as I've discovered. Is there anything I can do to still be veggie, but not unable to eat anything?

Please post your own opinions and experiences. Thanks!

It is more challenging to be a vegetarian with a gluten allergy, but it is definitely possible and is becoming more convenient every day. There are more and more gluten-free convenience foods out there, including gluten-free bread and pasta.

You should look into wheatless and yeastless products. Also, look up the "Amy's" brand of meals, they are very helpful to vegans like me, and they're awesome because on the front, it says "non-dairy," and "lactose free" and often times "gluten free." And on the back, instead of just saying "ingredients:" for vegan meals, it says, "ingredients (vegan):" which rules.
