Everywhere you look theres heterosexuality being thrust in your face (no pun intended), its really quite nauseating, open a magazine there it is, turn on the tv, theres people f**king. Look up at a billboard, goto a mall. You cant escape it. I mean come on people I dont mind what you do in your own homes but please do you have to flaunt it so unashamedly in public! I dont want my kids seeing it and Im sure other gay families dont want their kids seeing it either. Im really worried my kids might get recruited by them(the str8s), and end up going to those weird church clubs where they're all brainwashed on drugs and having orgies with the paedophile priests etc. Its just unnatural. I mean the world is overpopulated as it is, I dont want my kids adding to the problem by becoming breeders too and living a life of sinful promiscuity .None of them are happy, they all get divorced in the end I mean what sort of life is that. It really should be outlawed.

Look I know its tough, but I think we're just going to have to accept it, I mean, straights are people too, no matter how disturbing you might find thier bizarre hetrosexual notions. I hear theres a straight pride rally this weekend, perhaps you should attend, get to know a few of them, you just might discover that even though they sleep with the opposite sex, they can laugh, joke and have intelligent conversation just like us gays. Tolerence just might be the first step towards acceptance :p

About str8 people: I've been around these folks all my life, and it hasn't been contagious so far. Of course, you can never be too careful. I swear, they think they run the whole world.

You really ought to take them more seriously. It is a horrible life being a breeder, being a slave. The christians do try to brainwash every person they can get into their churches. The kids are rewarded for every kid they bring to bible club with them. This idea of perfect heterosexual couples is forcing itself on society and society is expecting that of people. I'm not gay, so its not disturbing me because its straight. The whole concept of the happy couple is fake, it doesn't exist.

There really is no reason to get married unless you want to have kids.

so what...do you think that every straight person is being brainwashed by the catholic church? and why would you be raising your kids to be gay...or straight for that matter? they have to make their own decision. And shielding them from sex and drugs isnt going to do anything but damage them and make things harder for them later in life.

Of course every straight person has been brainwashed by the catholic church, why else would they be straight? And of course i've got to raise my kids to be gay, being gay myself it would mean that i'd done something terribly wrong in my childrens upbringing for my them to end up straight. And I can't remember drugs coming into to this conversation, but while we're on the subject, I hear that alot of straight people do them, so I think i'd best shield my kids from them, incase there is some straight contagion in them.

    i totally agree.
My parents are straight, i am always thankful to it.I was born to this world because they are straight. But i dont wanna them to be the ones who decide my sexual orientation, i want them to accept my sexual orientation. If i was straight, i think i would be growing up straight despite of whatever anyone tries to do to me.

I dont think it is a good idea to hate straight people. Not all of them are bad. I have straight friends, they know im gay and they are still great friends of mine.

My parents didnt get any brainwash or whatsoever. they are not christians. They were just born to be straight, just like us, who were born to be gay. They are straight, but i dont think they did something terribly wrong to raise me up being gay.

come on! gay ppl spend years trying to remove prejudice and now ur starting ur own prejudice against straight ppl? the whole point is that ppl are equal not that gays are better or straights are better. sounds like u should loosen up on ur kids not try and impose ur sexuality on them.

This whole thread is really sad. It's time to stop complaining about things we cannot change, and start changing the things we can. I want to live in a world where people don't kill people for their sexuality or religion. Where everyone is represented in the media equally. Where freedom actually means frreedom for everyone, not just freedom for the mainstream. It may not happen in my lifetime, but maybe my children will be that lucky. As for the children...

If you force your children to be like you, give them no choice in the matter, how are you any better than the straight, Christian, bigotted people who you complain about? Your children, no matter how you try to raise them, will be what they will be. My mother raised me to be a good little Catholic girl, barely taught me anything about sex because she thought that by not telling me about it, I wouldn't do it, and when anything about gays and lesbians was ever mentioned around her, she said things like "Disgusting" and "Sinful". I'm Pagan, bi-sexual, and went through a period of my life where I screwed anything that offered. So you can see how well that worked. Kids are like that. For every one that never questions what their parents tell them, there are a dozen who do exactly the opposite of what they're taught. I'm raising two boys of my own, and I intend to raise them to know that I love them - no matter what. I don't care if they choose to be gay, straight, bisexual, celibate, transgendered, transvestite, Pagan, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Budhist, Satanist, Atheist, Agnostic, Vegetarian, whatever. I may not always like their choices, but I will always support their right to make those choices, and take the consequences, and I will always, always love them. So far, it's working. Blessed Be.

I am happy to hear you chose to be bisexual, GypsyPriestess. For me, being gay isn't a choice. It is how I was born and all that I know. For a time I wished I was straight. Life would be so much easier. Now, I am not only proud, which is worthless, but I am glad to be gay, which is priceless.

Listen folks, pride is just an ego trip, but you do need an ego to stumble through the day.

I'm glad I am gay because I'm a seeker of truth. You won't find truth in the dominant culture, especially one like our christian culture that buries the truth. I have witnessed the ugly nature of man in all it's naked brutality. Pretty? Not even. Honest? The truth always is. I would never know what I do about human nature if it weren't for the fact that I am gay.

True enough. But poking fun at the unchangeable isn't complaining. Pointing at the unchangeable isn't complaining either. You need to acknowledge the things that you can not change. And you need to either laugh or grieve before you can move on. For instance, there are plenty of idiots in the world and there seems to be no end to them. You will never change the fact there is a new idiot born every day. but you can make jokes about the idiots, hold a mirror up to them and you can shed a tear for every life that is lost at the hands of an idiot. What's wrong with that? Nothing.

However, christian hatred is not a given; ignorance is not a given. It is worth while and imperative that we change those things. Str8s have used Homos for a scape goat for centuries. That must change if mankind is to grow. That's the beautiful truth. Excuse me for pointing it out.

The story goes that the first Seeker of Wisdom left his village one day for his ultimate quest. He struggled through dangerous forest and climbed the highest mountains before he found himself at the foot of the Temple of Truth. He was ill prepared for what he found inside. Truth was an ugly old crone, too horrible to fix a direct gaze upon. Voicing his disappointment, the Seeker of Wisdom said, "What am I going to tell my people?"

"You will tell them," she said, "that I am beautiful."
