i decided quite a while ago, that yes i can see why people have a dislike for chavs, but can we not see when we talk about people disliking hippies for the way we dress and act, and that we are stereotyped into a certain role, and although i know there are chavs in all "classes", they are promdominantly lower class, and i beleive in my opinion that picking on a certain people from a certain class, who dress a certain way is discriminately, ....maybe just maybe some chavs are people who dress a way to fit in or in a role because of where they live, and are actually human beings who will probably now grow up with more problems because of the rest of "higher" society bullying them. peace and love michael x

I kinda like it.....i like the fact that the kids now actively kick back at a society that offers them [seemingly] so little.......god knows my generation and the generation before me achieved foook all......the only thing those kids are fighting against is the society we fucking created....
well personally i dont like the whole attitude of them, no matter who "they" are, i see that in the same vein as been racist or sexist, just because you believe they all act as such doesn't mean they ALL do, how would you like to be catergorized? just because i dress a certain way, i don't like people to say that because if this i am definately in a group and thereofre not an individual and do not have emotions, peace and love michael x
But hippy's do have a bad name by the way we dress etc. Chav's are amazing - i kinda want one, maybe instead of a normal barbie they will come out as chav barbie complete with bling, track suit, a baby for the under 14's along with a lovely pink pram. How anyone can be happy like that is beond me!!!!!!

I'm not complaining about the stereotype hippy. No matter what path you choose in life you will be stereotyped - hated, liked, slagged off, everything. There is nothing wrong with saying things about other people - we grow up with shit hurled at us. Its one of those thing's. And hippy's have been around for ages chav's is a vase!!!!! - wait a few weeks/month's and the chav's wil be no more!!!!
i dont believe that there is nothing wrong woth saying things against groups of people, but thats just me, i dont like putting people into a group and then saying they are all the same, give them a name and slag them off, its just not a good thing to do in my opinion, it very negative and i think the world needs more positive thoughts and actions to improve, im not sure if a chav will be go or hang around, but im sure they said hippies would die out, we may be always stereotyped etc all through life, it doesn't make it right though, and if i wish not to be, the first step is not to do unto others, peace and love michael x
fair enough - one person can't change the way load's of other's think though. at the end of the day everyone is put into a group - we all are - thats the way the world is
oh i know one person cann't change all, but its got to be a start, and its what i believe, if i dont want people to stereotype me then i will not stereotype anybody else, i dont accept the arguament that "that is the way the world is", because i believe we can change it, there is poverty and war all over the world- doesn't mean we dont try and change this because we dont agree with it peace and love michael x

just wana say although that often on there own chavs can be nice people but at the same time, they believe way too much in violence and can be really scary when theres huge crowds of them everywhere, they also generally have really closed minds on most subjects. and that chav scum website is really funny though
haha i have to endure chavs daily at college and in and around London. Its hard sometimes to see a point to someone who hates evryone, steals hard working ppl's stuff, dosent work, just fuks around and does nothing for the good of anyone and society. If i stole money like them it would go strait to charity!
Tony Pulis what a chav! Currently managing Plymouth Argyle, although he's been like it as long as I can remember - stands in his technical area wearing a baseball cap, tracksuit and bright white trainers! Or maybe he only picked up the habit whilst managing Stoke - which must surely rival Luton as a top chav-hole.
I agree with Michael, it causes more problems. I believe most people have sufferd because of discrimination and should think a little more carefully before encouraging it. It's dividing and leaves people, in this case mostly teenagers, feeling more alienated from society.
